The Lost Symbol, in my opinion, is a great novel to read if you want to follow Robert Langdon on a farfetch'd tale to discovering something that isn't really possible. It was a fun novel to read; however, there were a lot of unrealistic details, and it seemed as if Brown has little knowledge of the actual science behind Noetic research and the Bible in general. Basically, I would recommend this novel, keeping in mind that it is a fiction. It was an easy read, very simple to understand with only a few plots progressing simultaneously and at the end you are smacking your head with a conclusion that kind of makes you a little angry you read the book, but still a fairly decent book. Critics were especially hard on Dan Brown for releasing this novel, considering it had to live up to other hype from
The Da Vinci Code, and
Angels & Demons. In conclusion, after reading this book your mouth isn't going to be hanging open and you are probably not going to want to talk to your friends about it, but it was a mildly thrilling, decently written, Dan Brown book.
Thanks for Reading
